API reference

The LlamaGuard Proof client API indexes the Midas registry and resolves content-addressed documents from IPFS. Use it to browse proofs and retrieve complete attestation or verification documents.

The API is a convenience layer. The independent verification flow uses the on-chain registry and IPFS directly.

Proofs

`GET /protocols/midas/proof`

Returns all indexed Midas proofs.

Returns the latest attestation metadata for a proof.

Attestations

Returns the attestation history for a proof.

`GET /protocols/midas/proof/:proofId/attestations/:attestationHash`

Resolves the attestation hash to its IPFS document and returns the claims, source evidence, and metadata.

Verifications

`GET /protocols/midas/proof/:proofId/attestations/:attestationHash/verifications`

Returns every indexed verification report for an attestation.

Returns one verification document, including its per-claim results and summary.

Verify without the API

Read the registry

Call proofIdToLatestAttestation(proofId) on MidasSaveRegistryWithClaim to obtain the current attestation hash.

Derive the IPFS CID

Convert the SHA-256 content hash stored by the registry into the corresponding IPFS CID.

Fetch and inspect the document

Download the content from an IPFS gateway, decompress the gzip payload, and confirm that its digest matches the on-chain hash.

Run the verifier

Parse the attestation and run verifyAttestation() from @save/core, or inspect its claims and evidence directly.

The overall status is Valid, Invalid, or Uncertain. Inspect the per-claim results before treating the summary as an integration decision.
